Who we are
MinePoll (minepoll.org) is a Minecraft server list where players find servers and vote for them. If you have questions about your data, e-mail us at privacy@minepoll.org.
What we collect
- Your account: e-mail address, Minecraft username and password. Your password is stored securely by our login provider (scrambled, so nobody can read it, including us).
- Servers you add: name, IP address and port, description, tags, links, icon, banner and Votifier settings.
- Votes: the Minecraft username you enter, the time, and your IP address. The IP is only used to stop people voting more than once a day and is erased after 30 days.
- Security data: our host and captcha check your IP address and browser to block spam and attacks.
What is public
Server listings and the Minecraft usernames in each server’s “Top voters” list are public. Your e-mail address and IP address are never shown on the site.
Why we use it
- To run the site: accounts, server listings, voting and leaderboards.
- To send account e-mails (confirm your e-mail, reset your password).
- To deliver votes: when you vote, your Minecraft username, the time and your IP address are sent to that server’s Votifier plugin, so the server can give you rewards. This is how Minecraft vote rewards work.
- To keep the site safe from spam, bots and abuse.

Services we use
- Cloudflare: hosting, security and captcha.
- Supabase: database and accounts (stored in the EU, Frankfurt).
- Resend: sending e-mails (EU, Ireland).
- PlayerDB and Mojang: checking that a Minecraft username exists.
- mcsrvstat.us: checking if servers are online (only server addresses are sent).
- mc-heads.net: showing Minecraft skin heads (your browser loads these pictures directly).
- PayPal: payments, only if you buy a featured spot. We never see your card or PayPal login.
- Google AdSense: ads, if ads are shown on the site.
We don’t sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
- Your account and servers: until you delete them.
- Unfinished sign-ups (e-mail never confirmed): deleted after 24 hours.
- Vote IP addresses: erased after 30 days. The vote itself (username and time) stays for the leaderboards.
Your rights
You can see and change your details in Manage Account, and delete your account there at any time (this also deletes your servers). For anything else, like a copy of your data, e-mail privacy@minepoll.org. Depending on where you live (for example the EU’s GDPR), you may have more rights, including complaining to your data protection authority.
Age
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
